"You must be the change that you want to see in the world" is the quote by Mahatma Gandhi that I tried to live by. And by far, I have been able to implement it while I was doing my internship in BTPN.
Getting the chance to contribute to BTPN enabled me to develop my skills further. The various challenges and projects that demanded me to give my 110% were draining yet very rewarding. It was all thanks to the neverending effort of my mentors who oversaw us, interns, in every step.
I was assigned to the Human Capital Department - Learning & Talent Management, more specifically, Employer Branding. Going for an internship while still working on my master's degree sure was not an easy task. Again, it really paid off, working in a supportive environment surrounded by many amazing people, both mentors, and fellow interns. Nothing quite like this even compared to my campus life.
One of the memorable experiences was when we, together with fellow interns working on this "Sumpah Pemuda" themed video project. This project pushed us to work outside of our comfort zone. Exploring possible scene, outside and inside of the office, has taught us that, yes! We can create something extraordinary, even though we may not have the necessary skill set at first.
We were thrilled to know that our hard work has paid off! Our video was published in BTPN Linkedin. This 2 day project certainly built a stronger bond between us interns.
Starting from learning how to create great content, starting my own event, developing creative ideas made me more confident in jumping into a real work environment. My friends and mentors' support also helped me to mold my personality.
At the end of the day, I feel there are changes in me. I learned how to work with my colleagues, push my self beyond limits, and find my potential through this simple project. I now firmly believe that you can only grow if you dare yourself to get out of your comfort zone.
